Diana

Has been surfing for 12 years and came 2nd in the women's senior national contest 2003, she was also 2nd in All Comers national contest 2003.

She has been a representative for Northland swimming, net ball & indoor basket ball.

In 2003 Diana was surfing remote reefs in Fiji with new Zealand champ Pauline Pullman and her daughter Winnie Paul who is the NZ up and coming under 16 girls hot grom.

Surf coach for the last 2 years.

She enjoys all water sports, walking, kickboxing

Diana balances her surf coaching by working as a parttime anaesthetic technician in the operating theatre at Kensington Hospital, Whangarei.

She also works as a sales rep for Neville at Lastrite Footwear and enjoys meeting people as well as sharing the waves with fellow surfers. Over the last 2- 3 years has been running school surf camps at the Pataua outdoor Education .  also traveling to othe places doing surf camps for Epsom girls .

Neville

Neville has been surfing for 30 years & won the Senior section at the  Polar Bear surfing competition held in September 2004 at Sandy Bay, Northland.

He swam in the World Masters swimming 1990 competition, representing Northland, which was held in South America.

He also competed in the World Masters surf contest 2003 and has been involved with the Northcoast Board Riders Surf Club for the last 15 years.

He has judged and helped organise many contests.

Nev (Boogey) played competitive soccer for 20 years and enjoys most water activities, fishing, boating & diving - as well as some land based activities, playing tennis, biking & walking. He's a bit of a pool shark (so watch out around the pool table downstairs) and he's an absolute social animal.

The owner and manager of Lastrite FootWear in Whangarei, Nev is also the designer of the world famous boogey thongs.
